Natural GLP-1 lasts about two minutes.
Your gut releases GLP-1 after every meal — it signals fullness, triggers insulin and slows digestion. An enzyme called DPP-4 destroys it within one to two minutes. A receptor agonist keeps activating the same receptors for days.

In SURMOUNT-1, adults taking tirzepatide 15 mg lost an average of 20.9% of body weight over 72 weeks under the treatment-regimen estimand — everyone randomized, however their treatment went — alongside roughly seven inches at the waist.

“I wasn’t going to put my name on a protocol I hadn’t been through myself. I saw what the medication can do — and I saw what the companies selling it online get wrong. People weren’t quitting because it stopped working. They quit because the price jumped and nobody was there after the sale.”

The Honest Part · Sin Rodeos
03 / 03What the first month actually feels like.
Most programs skip this part. We won't. Side effects are real, they are mostly early, and they are manageable — your coordinator plans for them with you.
- Week 1 Common Starting dose
Days 1–3 are usually quiet. Fullness arrives early; mild nausea shows up after fatty or large meals.
What helps: Smaller portions, lean protein, sip water between meals rather than during, skip alcohol and fried food.
- Week 2 Common Adaptation
This is the hardest stretch for most people — mild-to-moderate nausea, some fatigue, and constipation from slower digestion.
What helps: Fiber plus two litres of water a day, 1,200+ calories, ginger tea for nausea, and message your coordinator instead of quitting.
- Weeks 3–4 Common It settles
Side effects drop off sharply. Eating less starts to feel like your new normal rather than restriction. Expect 3–6 lb, much of it water.
What helps: Same injection day and time each week, weigh once weekly, and note what triggered any nausea.
- Month 2+ Common Titration
Your provider reviews tolerance and results before any dose increase — never automatically. The steadier loss pattern usually starts here.
What helps: Send your notes before the monthly review; your price does not change when your dose does.
Call your provider immediately if
- Severe abdominal pain radiating to your back, with or without vomiting
- Persistent vomiting that stops you from keeping fluids down
- Difficulty breathing, or swelling of the face or tongue
- Severe pain in the upper right abdomen
- Fainting, severe dizziness, or signs of severe dehydration
Most first months pass without incident. Knowing the warning signs is part of starting any serious medication.
Who this isn't for
A GLP-1 is not appropriate for everyone. Your intake screens for every item below, and a provider will tell you no when the answer is no.
- A personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or MEN 2
- A history of pancreatitis
- Pregnancy, breastfeeding, or trying to conceive
- Severe gastrointestinal disease, including gastroparesis
- Under 18, or a BMI below the clinical threshold for treatment

No. REMEVi prescribes compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide prepared by state-licensed US compounding pharmacies (503A). A compounded preparation is not FDA-approved, is not a generic version of, and is not the same as Ozempic®, Wegovy®, Mounjaro® or Zepbound® — it contains the same active ingredient, prepared for you by a licensed pharmacy.
-
No. Most weight-loss programs raise your price every time your dose increases — REMEVi never does. Your price is flat at every dose, and the visit, medication, coaching and shipping sit inside that one number. Your price never goes up.
